Privacy Policy

InFuudie ("we," "us," or "our") is a product of Qübe Labs LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the InFuudie application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using InFuudie, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated by your use of the Service, and limited technical data from your device.
Account Information
- Name and display name
- Email address
- Profile photo
- Username
- Account credentials (managed securely via Supabase Auth)
User-Generated Content
- Food posts, photos, and captions you upload
- Comments and reactions you leave on others' content
- Restaurant reviews and ratings
- Content shared within the Experience marketplace
Health and Nutrition Data
- Nutritional information automatically analyzed from your food posts using AI (estimated calories, macronutrients, and dietary data)
- This data is linked to your account and stored securely
- We do not access Apple HealthKit or any external health platforms without your explicit consent
Activity and Engagement Data
- Posts you interact with (yummies, comments, saves)
- Restaurants and content you discover and engage with
- $Points earned and transaction history
- Donation activity
Technical and Device Data
- Device type and operating system version
- IP address and approximate location (city/region level)
- App usage patterns and session data
- Crash reports and performance diagnostics
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the InFuudie Service
- Power the automatic AI nutrition tracking feature from your posts
- Calculate and distribute $Points rewards based on your contributions
- Display your content to other users and enable social interactions
- Connect Fuudies with brands through the Experience marketplace
- Send you relevant notifications about activity on your content (with your permission)
- Ensure safety and integrity of the platform — including reviewing reported content
- Comply with legal obligations
- Analyze aggregate usage to improve product features
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your health or nutrition data for advertising purposes.
3. Health and Nutrition Data — Special Handling
InFuudie's AI nutrition tracking analyzes food images you post to estimate nutritional content. This is a core feature of the Service. Here is how we handle this sensitive data:
- Storage: Nutrition estimates are stored linked to your account and the specific post they were derived from.
- Access: Only you can view your personal nutrition history. We do not share individual nutrition data with other users, brands, or third parties.
- Aggregation: We may use anonymized, aggregated nutrition data (with no individual identifiers) to improve our AI models.
- Deletion: Deleting your account permanently removes all nutrition data associated with your profile.
- No HealthKit integration: InFuudie does not connect to or write to Apple HealthKit unless you explicitly enable this in a future feature release.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- With other users: Content you post publicly (photos, captions, reviews) is visible to other InFuudie users. Your profile, display name, and $Points activity may be visible to others.
- With service providers: We use Supabase for database and authentication infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
- For legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
- In a business transfer: If Qübe Labs LLC is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you in advance.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently delete all personal data, user-generated content, health/nutrition data, and $Points history within 30 days. Anonymized aggregate data may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.
6. Your Rights and Controls
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information through your profile settings
- Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app under Settings → Delete Account
- Portability: Request an export of your data by contacting us
- Objection: Object to certain uses of your data by contacting us

7. Children's Privacy
InFuudie is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a user under 13 has created an account, we will delete the account and all associated data promptly. If you believe a child under 13 is using InFuudie, contact us at privacy@qubelabs.org.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
InFuudie may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as restaurant websites or brand pages). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before sharing any information with them.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of InFuudie after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
